Hereโ€™s how we intend to use the information people share when exploring DemandHeads or joining our specialist network.

Who we are

DemandHeads Limited (company number 13238063) is the controller of the personal information covered by this notice. You can contact us about privacy at garygould@demandheads.com.

What we collect

When you use Hire DemandHeads, we may collect your name, business email, company, answers to the growth-system questions, suggested squads and information you give us in subsequent conversations.

When you use Join DemandHeads, we may collect your name, email, LinkedIn profile URL, selected squad experience, B2B sectors, platforms and seniority. We may view the professional information you have made available through your LinkedIn profile to understand your experience. We do not ask you to upload a CV on this form.

We may also collect correspondence, meeting notes and basic website technical information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and security logs. Please do not put sensitive personal information, such as health details, in a form or your initial message.

Why we use it

Respond to Hire enquiries, show a suggested squad and arrange a discussion

Our legitimate interests in responding to a business enquiry and understanding the services a prospective client needs.

Review Join profiles and contact specialists about suitable opportunities

Our legitimate interests in assembling relevant B2B marketing squads and considering people who ask to join our network. Joining the network does not guarantee work.

Run a paid diagnostic or deliver agreed services

Our legitimate interests in managing a client engagement; contract where we contract directly with an individual; and legal obligation where records are required by law.

Protect the website and keep operational records

Our legitimate interests in security and reliable operation, or a legal obligation where applicable.

Send optional newsletters or promotional updates

Your consent where you opt in. This is separate from submitting either form, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the relevance of the information and your reasonable expectations. You can object to this use; see โ€œYour rightsโ€ below.

The Hire snapshot uses answers to suggest a possible lead and supporting squad. It is a conversation starter. We do not use it to make a decision with legal or similarly significant effects. Join profiles are reviewed by people; there is no solely automated decision to accept or reject a specialist.

Other sources

If you provide a LinkedIn URL, we may review the professional profile you direct us to. For prospective client contacts, we may supplement company and professional contact details with information in our CRM or from business data providers such as Apollo, including company size, sector and role. We use this to understand whether an enquiry fits our services and to keep our records accurate.

Who receives it

Authorised DemandHeads team members may access relevant information. We expect to use service providers for website hosting and forms, CRM (planned: HubSpot), business data enrichment (planned: Apollo), email, booking and website analytics where enabled. These providers process data under their own or our applicable agreements.

We may share relevant specialist information with a prospective client when exploring a specific opportunity, after discussing that opportunity with you. We may share information with professional advisers or authorities when necessary or required by law. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

A prospective specialist profile for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, and an unconverted Hire enquiry for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. We would remove or refresh records sooner if they are no longer relevant or you ask us to do so, subject to any legal reason to keep them. Records of an actual client or contractor engagement may need to be held longer for accounting, contractual or legal purposes. Confirm the detailed retention schedule and website log period with the chosen systems.

International transfers

Some chosen providers may store or access information outside the UK. Before launch, identify the countries involved and the applicable UK adequacy arrangements or contractual safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum), and explain how a person can request details. This section must reflect the provider agreements actually in place.

Cookies and analytics

The website may use strictly necessary technologies for operation and security. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are added, we will explain them in a cookie notice and offer the appropriate choice before setting non-essential cookies or similar technologies.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to see your information, correct it, erase it, restrict its use or receive a portable copy. You can withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it; this will not affect earlier lawful processing.

You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time. We will stop direct marketing if you object.

Contact us at the address above to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Contact and complaints

For privacy questions or requests, email garygould@demandheads.com. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissionerโ€™s Office.
